How We Did Each Thingy

Last week we started something new in photoshop, frame animations. It reminds me a slight bit of stop motion but it is not really pictures at all. Restarted by using the paint brush tool, and made the paint brush style for grass instead of a standard brush. The brush's colors also are varied between a dark and light green. Then we painted it as grass. After, we created a circle that looked like a ball and changed its opacity to about 37 percent and created its path, using option drag. We then created a frame animation and went frame by frame showing only one ball at a time using the eye icon.  We really honestly did that for every animation for this project.

What was learned

We learned this past week how to create frame animations, something I did not really know how to do. Sometimes it got a bit tricky though because the layers would occasionally pop up in other frames and then I would make those go away and they would all go away. It got fairly tricky but I fixed it. Something I would do the same is the way I did the frame animation. Something I would do differently is be more creative, I did try to do something different with the ground but that did to really work out, next time I should do something else. Overall the project was pretty fun but could be hard at points.

What we did This past week we created another web page but this one was for a poem called "Another Reason I don't keep a gun in the House". We began by adding in the starting files and we then created new rules on the different parts such as the headings. Those got changed to different colors, sizes, etc. Once done we added some links and text of our own. The project was fairly easy and simple to be honest. At the beginning the site was just a white page with a dog picture and some text but by the end it had a black background with different text colors and a great variety. CARP Contrast is the first letter of CARP and boy was there variety in this project. The texts were different colors and the colors had great contrast with each of their respective background. Never gonna give you up

Over the course of the past month my class has been working on recreating music videos. My group chose Rick Astly's Never Gonna Give You Up music video. In this blog post I will break down the process of the creation of the video. Pre-production Our pre-production was very busy once we picked the song and music video. Ryan was tasked with the story boarding, which is quite a feat considering how many different shots there are. That took close to a week. I did the filmscaping as I was the cinematographer. That took about twenty minutes, I also helped find the props. Alexis was there to tell us what to do, can't exactly remember what her document was that she had to do. Alexis and I then did the casting, which was mostly her friends, I tried to get my amigo Zeph to do it but he was like nope so we cast Nathan as Rick. Social Media Fast

Reflection Recently I took a ten day fast from social media and it was gloriously difficult. It was definitely something I needed because I am almost always on social media, and it was something that I really felt like I needed to do. The first day was extremely difficult, u the following days were super duper easy, it also caused me to use my phone lesser than usual, another plus. The only con that I ran into was the fact that I use Instagram to communicate with my classmates, but that was easily solved by just giving them my number. It was every now and then annoying not being able to access my memes, but I then remembered that I could just use Google to find memes. Once I had finished the fast, I found that I was using social media not as much as I had before, so overall, I thought it was a good experience that all should try at least once.
